Ben & Jodie, Feb 27 ~ Mooloolaba [Mooloolaba Wedding Photographer]

Stunning, Elegant, Hilariously fun !  That is the only description I can give to describe Ben & Jodies’ wedding at Mooloolaba on the weekend.

I was like a kid in a lolly store!  ~ The stairs within The Landmark Resort were to die for and the weather cleared up enough for us to get some great shots out and about.

Here are some of my favourite shots of the day!

Congrats again Ben & Jodie ~ enjoy your honeymoon and see you when you get back!

A Polley Anniversary ~ 50 years young !

I hope that I have a marriage that is as strong as and lasts as long as Duncan & Valdas’ !  I wish all of my Wedding Couples this much success in making a marriage work.

Imagine the possibilites of what can be achieved with a love as strong as this (and I guess a high patience threshold) !? lol

Congratulations to the entire Polley Family !

PS - I just loved the detail in creating the atmosphere for the ‘ garden tea party’ reception !

Surf Air on Marcoola Beach ~ Brett & Louise’s Wedding

What a special day !  Brett & Lou have been together forever and FINALLY shared their nuptials with family and friends at Marcoola Beach.

B&L’s day was not only blessed with AMAZING weather, the entire bridal party rocked it out with their dazzling good looks and sense of humour !  I had an absolute blast and the reception was great fun too.

Thanks again guys, and congrats to you both !

New Portrait Album RELEASE

Last year I saw a lovely idea for a Progressional Album.  I have been doing Progressional Pregnancy sessions for over 3 years, and now have this beautiful portrait album to accompany the prints !

You choose how many sessions you’d like to have included in your album.  Below is two versions.  One complete album from the one session and also my famous Watch Me Grow sessions….

These albums have been so popular since their release, that I am so thrilled to share them with you.  If you would like more information on these, please don’t hesitate to drop me an email or a phone call !  ;)

Fraser Island Wedding ~ Kevin & Renee

How I L.O.V.E Fraser Island !  If you haven’t had a chance to see this massive National Park, do yourself a favour and make a weekend of it !  Stay at the Kingfisher Resort, go camping, go trekking, whatever!  It’s just so beautiful and it remains one of Queenslands’ best assets!

Again, I had the chance to capture some very special friends’ wedding at the Island.  Here’s one of my favourites….

And a special thanks goes to Char (Charmaine Otto Photography) for helping me out on the day)!

New Zealand Baby Bump

While I was in New Zealand, not only did I second shoot a wedding for a friend, I also had the opportunity to photograph her growing baby bump!

Deb was so excited to do something different (majority of my maternity sessions are influenced by the AMAZING Kelly Munce), I convinced Deb to pose for me in 10 degree temperatures on top of this mountain in Alexandra, Central Otago and minus 5 degree chill factor winds!  Bbbrrrrrrrr………..  And yes that is snow in the background on the alps !

Here’s one of my favs.

A new life is born ~ Selangor Hospital

Wow…..  No stringing of words together can describe the emotions of seeing someone you love go through childbirth, let alone watching the support and love from her devoted husband by her side and her mum and sister not far away either.

For me, being a part of the support crew (for a second time) was nothing short of unfathomable !  Actually, I’m pretty lost for words ~ unusal for me I know!  So I’ll shut up right now and just let these images I captured during the process speak for me.

Congratulations Josh, Jill & sister Georgia on the safe arrival of Lydia Jane, born naturally at 2.22am, 4th February 2010, weighing in at a healthy 3.99kg.

Central Otago, New Zealand ~ Dean & Karen’s Wedding

I have been so excited to visit a dear friend of mine who lives in New Zealand this week.  She has been studying photography and last year when she found out she was having a baby, I promised to travel over & do some maternity images of her, for her & her husband Darren.  In the meantime, she also had a wedding booking & here’s me thinking she’s going to go into labour early if she over does it, so I offered to second shoot for her ~ Hart2Heart Photography, NZ.

So here are some of my fav images ~ hard to pick my favourites so if you want to see more, please have a look at this link on Facebook and check out the gallery there as well.  http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3304835&id=35561267988

I must thank Dean, Karen and their families for letting me be apart of their wedding day, truly gorgeous ! And also Deb from Hart2Heart Photography for the opportunity to second shoot a New Zealand wedding.  It really did allow me to capture random and spontaneous images that I would not normally have the time to do or the normal angle to see.  It’s been a terrific learning curve for me.

I’m not going to rattle on now, so please enjoy the following images…

Two Peas in a Pod ~ [Gympie Portrait Photographer]

What a fantastic family !

There’s not too much I can say about these guys other than what a fun session we had.  Mum had the inititive to bring along some bribery for the boys as well ~ which definately worked in our favour and made us laugh so much !  These twins are definately 2 of a kind !

I’m going to let these images speak for themselves…
