A gorgeous Gympie wedding with a beautiful couple… The weather was a little wet at times but the sun shone at the right times and gave us a stunning sunset.
Many thanks to the bridal party who never let me stop laughing ! It’s so wonderful to have friends like these who can keep the Bride and Groom relaxed.
Congrats Dean & Kendall !

Oh wow ~ how beautiful is Roma! Especially after the 22 inches of rain they endured in the first few months of this year. Matt & Jess celebrated their wedding day on Jessica’s parents’ property “Mount Hope” ~ the name in itself is stunning! The property was transformed into a gorgeous country garden look with lanterns and a massive marquee to entertain the 175 guests.
The first thing I saw walking around with Jess the day before was this old rusted ute ~ PERFECT ! That’s where we started our location photography. The girls were horrified that they had to walk through the long rats’ tail grass and cobblers’ pegs with their beautiful gowns and heels, but from the images, I think it was totally worth it ! The entire bridal party – all 17 of them – were wonderful to work with – I take my hat off to them! Thanks guys!
Congrats Matt & Jess ~ will catch up with you soon,

I met Orin & Letitia early last year, and later found out that Orin runs his own photography business in Rockhampton (Blink Photography). This made me nervous ~ to photograph another photographers’ wedding ~ I could only imagine myself on my wedding day (if that ever happens) giving my wedding photographer tips, poses and suggestions, etc etc…. Oh what grief !
Orin & Letitia were exactly opposite that scenerio ! They made me feel more at home and ease that it was a natural progression of the fanastic images that I gladly presented them with. Both of their families were simply wonderful and I had the opportunity to use Orin & Letitia as ‘guinea pigs’ for a Photo Booth idea that I wanted to try later during the reception. I will post these soon for you to have a laugh. In the meantime, here is one of my favourite images from the day.

The infamous 'Photo McBoothy' as nicknamed by Orin & Letitia !
Above is a ‘small’ example of the images taken in a Photo Booth. Some were too adventurous to put on the blog, but at least you get the picture ! Lots of fun and plenty of laughs !

I promised this beautiful couple a few images before they leave for their Tassie Honeymoon in the morning. Dan & Rach had the most spectacular day (even the weather was perfect) and I’m so blessed to be the one to capture their wedding day memories.
Many thanks to the staff at House of Laurels for the fabulous ceremony and reception ~ nothing short of amazing !
Congratulations again Dan & Rach ~ your wedding day reflected the love that you two hold for each other as well as the love and support of your cherished family & friends.
Enjoy your honeymoon and sneakpeak!

Last week I attended a Photography workshop with Rob Heyman. If you know Rob, he is a totally classical and brilliant photographer who works solely with natural light. I first met Rob and learnt how to ‘see the light’ about 2 years ago.
We delved into the classical Black and White imagery, and I totally agree that there’s something special about a B&W image and the fact that it NEVER dates.
This image is one of a local family, 2 sisters whom wanted to give their mum a portrait for Mother’s Day this Sunday. BTW, Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mums out there!

I have been blessed with the most amazing Brides and Grooms of late (actually ALL of my Brides and Grooms are wonderful)!
This image was taken at Amanda & Brett’s wedding at Twin Waters, Sunshine Coast a few weeks ago.
They had the best weather and a cracker of a bridal party! What a hoot!
Thanks again guys ~ B

I have known Gret for many years, photographing her big sisters’ wedding and then over the years becoming an adopted member to the family ! Gret’s pending 21st gave me an idea for a Portrait shoot that I wanted to try with her.
Tracey from Hills in Hollywood (Maroochydore) loaned us this gorgeous gown which was just perfect and looked amazing!
This is one of my favourites, just wanted to share.

Gabs has to be one of the MOST photogenic kids I have had the opportunity to photograph! What an absolute pleasure it was to spend an afternoon with her with her pony and a miriad of clothes changes and finally THE lollypop! Not sure how the night went once I left her all hyped up on sugar?! Sorry mum!
I just wanted to share this one fun shot ~ my favourite quirky one for the day!

Wow, so much has happened over the past few months. I’ve struggled to find the time to update you through this blog. But I am proud to show off my new little niece Ciara (pronounced Kira, Irish origin). My little sister did an amazing job and is an Amazing new mum! I’m so proud of her. Love you Nell. XX
The following images are from the past few months. First images of Ciara when she was only 5 days old…..
The best time to capture babies like this is within the first 2 weeks of age. They wriggle around too much when they get older……
Enjoy!

Stunning, Elegant, Hilariously fun ! That is the only description I can give to describe Ben & Jodies’ wedding at Mooloolaba on the weekend.
I was like a kid in a lolly store! ~ The stairs within The Landmark Resort were to die for and the weather cleared up enough for us to get some great shots out and about.
Here are some of my favourite shots of the day!
Congrats again Ben & Jodie ~ enjoy your honeymoon and see you when you get back!
